If you're having trouble getting good photos, below are the tips to work around the common blockers in the store. You can still get the shot. It's worth any extra time, so we can use the data and nothing gets sent back.
- Glare or lighting? Step slightly to the side or tilt just enough to remove reflection
- Tight space? If you can't step back or to the side and hold your phone straight, split into 2 or 3 photos with overlap, so you get the full section. What is important is clear photos that show the full picture.
- Obstacles in the way? Adjust your position so products are fully visible (don’t block key items). The goal is to still show all items in the fixture - so a slight tilt is OK, to ensure we see whats in the case. This helps our QA team see everything clearly, so you don't get sent back
- Device issues? Tap to focus and hold steady before snapping. If you need to try to 'zoom out' or ' zoom in' since you can't do this in the app (we know, we're working on it) use your camera phone for those shots, so you can get the right clean and high quality photo.
Your Gio locations must be turned on as we use Gio and time stamp to verity location and accuracy of the data being send to us.
All products must be clearly visible—adjust your position until they are
If key items aren’t visible, the photo can’t be approved
