Some stores may have an FEM that can look like an Endcap, but really isn't.
Every store is going to be different and the key to knowing if it is an FEM attached is the type of shelves on it because they are usually a rack, clip strip, or small display unit ect. If it looks like it can be removed without affecting the shelf, it is a FEM.
How to tell it’s still a FEM (even if it touches a gondola)
- It’s an add-on, not built-in
- FEM is usually a rack, clip strip, or small display unit that’s attached onto the gondola
- It looks like it could be removed without affecting the shelf itself
👉 Ask:
“If I removed this, would the shelf still be complete?”
Yes → FEM
No → Endcap
