If you see non-Frito products on a Frito fixture, do not guess
✔ Follow the new POG exactly
✔ Remove competitor products from the Frito fixture and
- First, check to see if you can easily place the non–Frito Lay product in its appropriate location elsewhere in the display, no need to merchandise it, just place it in its rightful place. This helps keep everything running smoothly.
Second: If the non–Frito Lay product does not fit in its designated area, notify the Store Manager, the Manager may place the product into a box (not a Frito-Lay box). When working with the manager, remember, this is their store, and be sure to remain professional and enthusiastic at all times. Maintaining a great Brand Impression counts in a big way!
✔ Take clear photos before and after
✔ Document that competitor product was found in Frito space and removed along with any direction the manager may have given
Do NOT call the hotline for competitor product removal
Do NOT leave competitor items on the Frito fixture
If a Manager Pushes Back or attempts refusal
Politely show the LOA, which authorizes you to complete this reset for Frito
Explain that you are following the client-approved POG and steps necessary to complete all tasks according to client request.
If the manager still refuses:
Stop removal and call the Frito hotline: (866) 830-2123 (Hours 4am-12pm CST) ALWAYS leave a message if there is no answer.
