First: Do NOT guess.
What Is a Fixture?
A fixture is a specific piece of equipment, not a promotion and not a price sign.
❌ A “2 for $1” sign does NOT mean it’s the correct rack
❌ Any rack is NOT automatically a FEM
✅ The size, shape, and location matter
FEM (Front End Merchandiser)
What it is:
A small rack near the checkout lanes, usually close to the registers.
What to look for:
Located at the front of the store
Near checkout lanes or the queue
Holds snack-size items
May have different signs — location matters more than signage
Common mistake:
❌ Marking any rack as FEM
✅ FEM = front of store, checkout area
