Some Manager's may wish to keep the layout they currently have, however, here are some tips to persuade the Manager to comply with the POG and complete a successful reset!
Acknowledge their input!
Example: “I understand you know what sells best here.”
Clarify the Requirement:
Explain that the space is purchased by the client, and every store carrying the product must follow the client-approved POG exactly.
Incorrect execution means you may be sent back to redo the project, and payment depends on completing the POG exactly as requested with correct photo proof.
Offer a Simple Solution:
“I’ll set it according to this POG so it meets the client’s requirements. If you want changes, your corporate team can review them for future resets.”
If they still refuse:
Stay professional and document the refusal with as much detail as you can and thank them for their time.
