In this section of the survey, you’ll be measuring each individual section, not the full aisle all at once.
Here’s how to do it:
Start by finding the shelving breaks, that’s where one section ends and the next begins. Take a photo of each section so it’s clear where your measurements apply.
Then measure the width of each section in feet, and be sure to count the shelves, including the base deck (the very bottom shelf).
🚫 Don’t include the dip shelf in your count — that one doesn’t count toward the total.
So in short:
One photo per section
Width in feet
Count all shelves except the dip shelf
