Let's start with:
Good question. “width” just means how wide the section is from side to side.
Think of it this way: you’re measuring the full stretch of the display, not just one shelf or one side. If the chip section runs across two aisles, you’ll measure the total width of both aisles combined — it all counts as one section.
Make sure to record your measurement in feet, not inches.
So if each aisle is about 6–8 feet wide, you’d record 14 feet total.
If you’re ever unsure, step back, look at the whole display, and ask yourself:
“Am I capturing everything the shopper sees when they stand in front of this set?”
Do NOT record width in inches.
