Since there are OOS, not carried, or low-stock items, you’ll need to confirm counts with the Manager on duty and we know this can be tricky sometimes.
Here's a few tips to get everyone onboard:
Ask politely: “Can I review the on-hand inventory with you using the Telzon? This helps ensure stock accuracy and avoids repeat issues.”
Why it matters:
Managers want shelves full and sales up, accurate counts mean less OOS, happier customers, and fewer missed sales.
If the Manager says yes: Review counts together and if counts are wrong, ask for an adjustment in the system.
If the Manager refuses: Stay polite. Don’t push. Your next step In the survey is to clearly document:
Who you spoke with (name/title).
Why the review couldn’t be done. (time (tells you 15-20+ min until its free), broken/not working on-hand device, or detail other specific reason because they don't just say "no" there is always a reason.
This prevents your visit from being flagged.
