Are reimbursements subject to Openforce fees?
Yes, all payments processed through Openforce, including reimbursements, are subject to a 2.95% Openforce fee. This fee includes:
1.65% for payment processing
1.3% for insurance
But here’s the good news: Survey gives you a 4% commission on reimbursement payments to help offset those fees, and actually give you a little extra.
How it works
When you request a reimbursement, Openforce deducts the 2.95% fee right away.
Then, on the first business day of the following month, Survey pays you a 4% commission based on the total reimbursement amount you requested the month before.
That commission payment also has the 2.95% Openforce fee deducted from it.
Example:
If you request a $100 reimbursement today:
You’ll receive $97.05 the next business day (after the 2.95% fee).
On the first business day of next month, you’ll get a $4.00 commission (minus fees), which comes out to $3.88.
Total received = $100.93.
A few things to keep in mind:
Commission is only applied to reimbursements, not other types of payments.
Reimbursements and commission payments are two separate transactions.
Openforce fees apply to both payments.
