How do I contact Survey Support?
You can contact Support by submitting a request here, reaching out through the app’s Message feature, or by giving us a call at: (857) 557-6999.
I have an existing EasyShift account. How will Survey know that I am a Shifter?
Please use the code “easyshift” as your referral code at sign up!
What kind of projects does Survey offer?
We have Audits, Merchandising, Resets and Product Demos/Brand Ambassador projects. For more information on how each project works, click here or see below.
- Audits - Enter data and take photos showing things such as product presence, pricing, placement, promotional status, facing counts, and inventory for certain products or promotions
- Merchandising - Restock products, build promotional displays, add stickers or other POS materials to products, and other hands-on tasks
- Product Demos - Hand out free samples and promote products to shoppers
- Resets - Rearrange all products, fixtures, tags, and other items on an entire shelf, section, or store
Will I be able to complete the same types of gigs that I do on EasyShift?
Absolutely! All of the gigs you are familiar with completing on EasyShift will be available on Survey. These type of projects are self-assign projects and will be listed in the Instantly Claim & Go section of your app. All you will need to do is open the Survey app and either click on Projects or click on Map to view jobs around you. Click here for more information.
Will Survey send me assignments to complete?
Throughout the day, Survey Project Managers will reach out to you with store or route (multiple assignments in region) offers. The stores and projects they offer can also be found on the map and list views. The offers save you time by grouping the assignments into a batch that you can complete in one trip.
Please note that you can opt out of these offers through our app, at the device level, or by requesting through the Messages feature. See below on how to do this.
How do I opt out of receiving communication from Survey?
There are three ways to opt out of notifications from us:
- On your device - Go to Settings, choose Notifications, find Merchandiser, and adjust the settings to your preferences.
- In-App - Open the menu (three horizontal lines at the top left), choose My Profile, scroll down to Notifications, and choose what you wish to be notified about. Please note that you must scroll to the bottom of the screen and choose Update to save your changes.
- Message us - Send us a message asking us to change your settings and we will take care of it for you.
Please note that these settings do not prevent messages from appearing in the app’s Message feature. They just stop you from getting alerts and (if you choose), phone calls.
What does it mean to request a project and how do I request one?
Requesting a project means you're expressing interest in completing it. Survey Project Managers review the requests and assign the stores. More than one Merchandiser can request a store, so you won't get every assignment you request.
To request a project, open the Survey Merchandiser app and click on Projects. From there you will be able to view all projects along with the description, pay, etc. One you click on a project, click on Request. All projects aside from Instantly Claim & Go projects will need to be requested. See below.
How many assignments can I have at a time?
By default, Survey Merchandisers can have up to 30 assignments at a time. However, some projects limit the number of stores that can be assigned. The app will notify you if you’ve hit your limit. If you have questions, you can send us a message.
How long do I have to complete assignments?
Each project has a different deadline. The deadlines can be found in the project overview. Projects in the Instantly Claim & Go section usually give you six hours to complete after you claim stores. Projects that require you to receive a shipment usually give you 48-72 hours to complete once you’ve received the shipment. When in doubt, check the project overview or reach out to the support team through the app.
Will I be penalized for cancelling a project?
Deleting an assignment or letting an assignment expire will lower your Reliability Rating. The Reliability Rating is your completion percentage. It’s the number of successfully completed assignments divided by the total number of assignments.
If you realize you will be unable to complete your assignments, please either request an extension through the app, message us through the app’s Messaging feature, or call us at 866-264-4496.
Do I need to print off paperwork to begin a project?
Many projects have attachments that you need to print out in order to complete the store visits. Others have attachments that you're not required to print, but you might want to print so you can be better prepared for your visit. For information on this, click here.
Does Survey offer any bonuses or contests?
Survey Merchandiser offers bonuses for completing certain stores in a certain timeframe. We also sometimes offer travel bonuses for completing projects in certain locations. The bonus offers are sent through the app.
Survey Merchandiser also has a referral bonus program. As a Merchandiser, you have a referral code that you can share with your friends and family that they enter when they register a new account. Once they work, you get a 10% commission from their approved earnings, capped at $100 from each person you refer.
Survey does not offer contests at this time.
When will I get paid?
Completed assignments that satisfy the project requirements get approved six days from when you complete them. Once approved, you may request a payment by going to the Payment Center in the app and tapping the Request Payment button.
All payment requests are processed on a next business day schedule.
Payments requested before 5pm EST will be paid on the next business day. Payments are not processed on weekends or holidays.
Payments requested AFTER 5pm EST on Fridays and weekends will be issued Tuesdays. If a Tuesday lands on a holiday, payments will be processed the following business day.
For fastest payment, be sure to request any existing balances M-F before 5pm EST to receive payment on the next business day.
